gallop
A digital copy of Edward Muybridge's 'Galloping Horse', 1878, is subjected to script which resizes the original 500x382 image down by 60%, and then up by 200% (from the original size) in successions. By using Adobe Photoshop's bicubic interpolation, the software is forced to interpret the value of each new pixel using a prediction founded in the surrounding pixels each time the image is changed in scale. The captions indicate the number of times resized.
